Advantages against standard roof PV systems:

PV panels of Solar Pantograph can be optimally inclined with respect to the current direction to the sun, thereby the power output is increased.
As Solar Pantograph can be stowed in bad weather, better protection is provided of the PV modules against hail, snow, and other unfavorable weather conditions, which leads to their longer lifetime.
Better natural cooling of PV modules in Solar Pantograph leads to their higher energy conversion efficiency.

Solar Pantograph can be also used as an autonomic solar powered charging station for electric cars

can be quickly deployed on any kind of terrain (e.g, in mountains, on rocky ground, etc).
